Fall Shows

In the fall, Lakeside Theatre produces two one-act plays. Any Lakeside student is welcome to audition for the cast or apply to be part of the crew for either show.  Each play is directed by one of our two directors, Greta Hayes and Lisa Bridges.

    • In addition to performing at Lakeside Theatre in the fall, each of these shows competes in one of two statewide one-act competitions. 

      • Mrs Hayes takes her show to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA), which begins as a regional, one-day competition at a location in metro Atlanta. 

      • Mrs Bridges competition is with the Georgia Theatre Conference, which is a multi-day event in October. 

    • Students and families should know that rehearsals, performances, and competitions require significant time and dedication.

    • After being cast or confirmed for crew, families must complete the following To-Dos.

    *These fees help cover a portion of our costs—costumes, show meals, t-shirts, show rights, construction materials, props, and more.

    *Cast: $200

    *Crew: $100
